1 · Terms of service

Who we are. Errandables (“we”, “us”) is a concierge and errand services operator based at 14325 Willard Rd, Suite 100A, Chantilly, VA 20151, serving the Washington DC metropolitan area.

What we agree to do. We perform the specific tasks described in an approved work order, within the window stated, using vetted personnel, and we document completion. We do not agree to perform anything outside the approved work order without a new approval.

Quotes and authorisation. A quote is valid for 48 hours. No work begins until the quote is approved. If a task materially changes once begun, we stop and re-quote rather than continuing at our own discretion.

Billing. Hourly services carry a one-hour minimum and bill in 15-minute increments thereafter. Flat-rate runs bill per run. Add-on fees are as published on our rate card at the time of booking. Actual time below the estimate is credited to you.

Cancellation. Cancel more than two hours before the window opens at no charge. Inside two hours, or once a runner has been dispatched, the one-hour minimum applies. We may cancel for safety, weather or scope reasons and will refund in full.

Purchases on your behalf. Purchases are drawn from Errandables Wallet loaded in advance and carry an 8% handling fee, minimum $10 and capped at $150 per task. Purchases above $2,000 require written pre-authorisation. Unused Errandables Wallet are refundable on request and do not expire.

Membership. Billed monthly in advance. Included hours roll forward 60 days and lapse thereafter. Cancel with 30 days' written notice. Annual plans are refunded pro rata on unused whole months, less the discount already applied.

Scope limits. We do not transport passengers or alcohol, provide hands-on personal care, perform trade work requiring a contractor licence, transport household goods over 30 miles, handle firearms, or provide legal, financial, tax, immigration or investment advice. A task that turns out to require any of these will be stopped and re-quoted or referred to a licensed provider.

Your obligations. Provide accurate access information, ensure items handed to us are lawful and accurately described, and maintain sufficient Errandables Wallet for authorised purchases.

2 · Service and delivery policy

Windows. A delivery window is the period within which we undertake to complete the task. Standard dispatch runs 08:00 to 18:00 on weekdays; extended dispatch runs 07:00 to 21:00 daily with a surcharge.

On-time commitment. If we miss an agreed window for a reason within our control, the service fee for that task is waived. Mileage, purchases and third-party charges still stand. This does not apply to delays caused by weather, traffic incidents, recipient unavailability, incorrect access information or third-party closures.

Proof of completion. Every task closes with a completion record: photographs at the relevant points, timestamps, mileage, wait time, and a signature where one was required. Records are retained for three years.

Undeliverable items. If a delivery cannot be completed, we contact you, hold the item securely and attempt redelivery at the extra-stop rate, or return it to origin. Items unclaimed after 14 days may be returned at your cost.

Refusal. We may decline or abandon any task that appears unlawful, unsafe, or outside our published scope, and will explain why.

3 · Limitation of liability

Care standard. We handle your property with reasonable care and carry $1,000,000 in general liability and commercial auto cover.

Liability cap. Except where prohibited by law, our aggregate liability for any single task is limited to the greater of the fees paid for that task or $500, unless a higher declared value was agreed in writing before the task and a corresponding surcharge was paid.

Declared value. For items of unusual value, tell us before the task. We will agree a declared value and price accordingly. Undeclared high-value items travel at the standard cap.

Excluded items. We do not accept liability for cash above $500, bearer instruments, jewellery, precious metals, original irreplaceable documents, biological material, live animals beyond agreed pet transport, or perishables outside an agreed temperature window.

Consequential loss. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including missed deadlines, lost profit or lost opportunity, arising from a delayed or failed task.

Claims. Report any claim within 48 hours of task completion. We acknowledge within three business days and resolve or decline within 30 days.

4 · Privacy policy

What we collect. Contact details, service and billing addresses, access instructions, task history, payment tokens held by our processor, and the completion records described above.

Why. To quote, dispatch, complete, document and bill the tasks you ask for, and to meet our record-keeping obligations.

Access instructions and keys. Codes, keys and access credentials are stored separately from general client records, released only to the assigned runner for the duration of a task, and logged against a custody record.

Sharing. We share only what a task requires — a recipient's name and address with the assigned runner, payment data with our processor, and information required by law. We do not sell client data.

Retention. Task and completion records for three years. Payment records as required by law. Access credentials deleted within 30 days of an account closing.

Your rights. Request a copy of your data, correct it, or ask us to delete what we are not required to keep, by emailing us.
