Every task moves through the same four gates, in the same order, whether it is a $49 package return or a $950 wedding. Nothing skips a gate because somebody was in a hurry.

Three ways in, all of them short
Text it. Most clients do. A sentence is usually enough, and a photograph of a list is better than typing one out.
Call the desk. Seven days a week, 07:00 to 21:00. A person answers and that person can commit to a time.
Use the form. It asks only about the kind of task you picked. A courier run is five questions and nobody is asked about item weight unless it matters.
Text it.
Consider it done.
Most clients never open this website twice. They text the task, we reply with a fixed price, they reply yes. The desk does the rest and the receipt lands the same evening.
No account needed. Tell us the task and we send a fixed quote before anyone moves. Nothing is charged until you say yes.

Where a task can stop, and who can stop it
Gate one — Nothing starts without a written scope
Whatever you send us — a text, a voicemail, a photograph of a handwritten list — comes back to you as a written scope before anything else happens. If we have read it wrong, this is where you find out, not afterwards.
Gate two — Nothing moves without an approved price
The quote is itemised: labour, each add-on by name, mileage if there is any, and an estimate for anything we buy. No runner is dispatched until you have approved it. If the job finishes under the estimate, you pay the lower figure.
Gate three — Nothing closes without proof
A task cannot be marked complete in our system without the records that task requires — photographs, timestamps, a signature, a custody record, a report. The dispatcher cannot override it and neither can the runner.
Gate four — Nothing is billed without a receipt
The receipt separates our labour, each add-on and anything purchased on your behalf, with every purchase receipt photographed and attached. The tip line is blank and no amount is pre-selected.

A task is not a message thread. It is a numbered record that opens, moves through states, collects evidence and closes — and you can see where it is at any point without asking anyone.

Under the estimate is credited
If a task takes less time than we quoted, you are charged the lower amount. We do not bill the estimate and keep the difference.
Over the estimate is ours
If we misjudged the job, that is our error. Anything above the approved figure needs your approval before it is incurred, and if we failed to ask, we absorb it.
Proof or it did not happen
If the proof a task required was not captured, the task is not billed. That rule applies to us, not just to the runner.
When we say no
And what happens next
Errandables does not provide licensed healthcare, transportation, legal, financial, real estate brokerage, contracting or other regulated professional services. Where a job needs a licence we do not hold, we say so at the quote stage rather than halfway through.
Then, where we can, we find you somebody who does hold it — three quotes, one comparison, the scheduling handled, the door opened and the completion photographed. We take no commission from anyone we introduce you to.
Permanently out of scope
Clinical specimens and patient records. Passenger transport. Hands-on personal care. Serving or supplying alcohol. Cooking. Home repair over $1,000. Showing property or hosting an open house. Home inspections. Booking or selling travel. Letting or managing property. Legal, tax or financial advice. Firearms, controlled substances and cash above $500. Unaccompanied care or transport of children.
