Why the rate is the same on both
Because the honest discount has a floor
A member hour is genuinely cheaper for us to produce than an on-demand hour. It is booked days ahead, it sits next to three other visits in the same neighbourhood, and the runner is not paid to drive across the county for it. That real saving is what funds the member rate.
But it runs out. Below about $53 an hour the discount overtakes the saving, and a member starts earning us less than the on-demand client they pushed out of the queue. At that point the money has to come from somewhere — from what the runner is paid, or from how carefully the task is done.
So we stopped. Both plans buy hours at $57.80. If you need more than Signature covers, that is a Private Household conversation, not a deeper discount.
What we withdrew, and why
An earlier plan offered 30 hours at $1,450 — $48.33 an hour. It looked generous. Run properly it returned about 15% and consumed thirty hours of capacity every month, which is capacity a second household could have had.

Recurring tasks
Dry cleaning every Thursday. Parent check-in every Saturday. Set once and it simply happens, with the same runner wherever we can.
Saved Places
Home, Office, Parents, Dry Cleaner, Pharmacy, Storage. Ask for “pickup from the cleaner, drop at the office” and we already know where both are.
Household profile
Preferred stores, brands, sizes, substitution rules, access instructions, the dog's name. Written down once so nobody asks twice.
Errandables Wallet
A pre-funded balance for purchases, with every receipt photographed and attached. No card at the till, no reimbursing anyone.
Priority dispatch
When capacity is tight, members go first. On Signature, same-day costs nothing extra.

Every task photographed, timestamped and receipted, kept and searchable. Signature adds a monthly summary.
