Errandables is a managed local execution network for households and businesses across the District, Northern Virginia and suburban Maryland. We run errands. We also run them like an operation.
What we actually are
Most errand businesses are a person, a car and a phone.
That model works until the day it matters.
It breaks when a law firm needs a stamped return copy by four o'clock, when a daughter in California needs to know somebody actually walked into her parents' house on Saturday, when a leaver refuses to hand back a laptop, or when a $325 HOA packet has to be paid for by somebody who is not the runner.
So we built the boring parts first. A dispatch desk. Task IDs. Written scopes before work starts. Quotes before dispatch. Proof requirements a runner cannot skip. A wallet so nobody advances their own money. Receipts that separate labour from purchases. Records kept for years rather than until an app forgets.
Behind the nine categories on this website sits an internal catalogue of 162 defined services, each with its own code, rate, proof requirement, runner tier and compliance position. You will never need to see it. It is the reason your task does not depend on which runner picked it up.

A narrow scope is a feature
We sell only work a vetted, insured, well-briefed adult can do today. If it needs a licence, a permit or specialist training, it is referred out — not footnoted, not phase two.
Proof is the product
The photographs, the timestamps, the custody record and the receipt are not admin. They are the thing that makes this different from a favour.
Runners are paid properly
Published pay bands, predictable routes, tips passed through in full. A badly paid runner is an operational risk before it is an ethical one.
Your money stays your money
Wallet balances are customer funds. They are not revenue, they are not working capital, and they are refundable in full on request.
